Psalm 118
Many years ago I participated in an Easter Vigil service at the Society of St. John the Evangelist monastery in Bracebridge, Ontario. One of the brothers preached the sermon and I remember every word of it to this day. "Christ is risen! Alleluia!"
On this Easter Day, let us sing our Alleluias - Jesus Christ is risen today, alleluia!
Let us sing with the Psalmist - this is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Let us sing with all of creation! Christ is risen! Alleluia!
